Al Manara, Tournai, le 30 août 2013

Since  January 2013, I’m playing in a great belgian-Palestinian Project!

A MUSICAL ENCOUNTER BETWEEN PALESTINE AND OCCIDENT, UNDER THE LOOK OF FRENCH PHILOSOPHER EDGAR MORIN…

Al Manara is a creation that gathers Belgian and Palestinian musicians around Ramzi Aburedwan and Eloi Baudimont. The artistic dialogue gives birth to a moving cultural blending where the Oriental propositions of Ramzi, be they traditional or original, are intertwined with the continental answers of Eloi…
European polyphony answers to the poignant Palestinian melodies; the softness of Palestinian singing, chords, nay and percussions echoes the powerful European brass wind…
The texts of the songs have been chosen within the works of the Palestinian poet, Mahmoud Darwich.
